Some students are seeking a perfect 4.0 grade-point average. While that is commendable, it places the emphasis in the wrong place.

Patriot Bible University considers knowledge, wisdom, and spiritual growth to be the more important goals of study. Grades actually reflect more of a mastery of the mechanics of taking courses than they do an understanding of the material. So, slow down, absorb the material, pray for wisdom and insight, and don’t worry about the grade.

Since graduation occurs whenever a student completes all the work for his or her degree, Patriot Bible University does not rank students by grade-point average as many schools do. Also, Patriot Bible University places no emphasis on grade-point averages at commencement. There is no valedictorian or salutatorian recognized at our commencement ceremonies. So, relax and learn!

Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. – Matthew 11:28
